A joyful kwanjula ceremony for the daughter of Hon. Amos Kankunda, the Member of Parliament for Rwampara County, turned into confusion and fear after the main tent nearly collapsed. The incident happened around 1 PM, just as the in-laws were arriving at the venue.

Witnesses say several guests were hit by the falling tent structure, causing panic and forcing the event to end suddenly. What was meant to be a happy celebration quickly turned into a scene of chaos, with people running for safety and trying to help those who were injured.

The accident has left many people in shock, and some locals now believe that foul play may be involved. There are growing whispers of witchcraft, with some blaming political rivals who may have wished ill on the event. These claims, though unproven, reflect the tension surrounding the unexpected incident.

Adding to the confusion, some invited guests were reportedly blocked by police from entering the venue, which angered many and raised more questions about the day’s strange happenings.

The family of Hon. Kankunda is said to be planning a private ceremony soon to continue with the traditional marriage celebrations in a safer and more controlled setting.
