TOP STORY!! “We Stand With Iran” Gov’t Of Uganda Condemns Israeli Strikes as Unprovoked Aggression
Uganda has taken a bold stance in international politics by condemning recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The Ugandan government described the attacks as “unprovoked aggression” and a violation of international law.
The strong statement came from Uganda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Gen. Jeje Odongo, during the 51st Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, held in Istanbul, Turkey. While addressing delegates, Gen. Odongo expressed deep concern over the strikes, saying they represent more than just an attack on Iran—they are part of a growing pattern of hostility toward the Muslim world.
He urged countries at the meeting to work together to prevent further violence in the Middle East. “There must be collective action to stop this aggression before it leads to a wider conflict,” he said.
Uganda’s remarks highlight its support for Iran and its call for peace in a region often marked by tension and conflict. The government’s position has caught international attention, especially as most African nations tend to remain neutral in Middle Eastern disputes.
With global tensions rising, Uganda’s clear stand adds to the voices demanding respect for international laws and peaceful solutions. Whether this move strengthens Uganda’s ties with Muslim countries or draws criticism from Israel’s allies, it marks a significant moment in the country’s foreign policy.
