“You Can Never Win Any Battle Against Bobi Wine, He Is Bigger Than You, Just Join Him” Promoter Bajjo Fearlessly Tells Alien Skin
Events promoter and outspoken social media critic Bajjo, whose real name is Alfonso Mukasa, has urged singer Alien Skin and his team to rethink their recent clashes with the National Unity Platform (NUP). His comments come at a time of growing friction between the fast-rising musician and the opposition party.
Bajjo cautioned that taking on NUP or its supporters is a wasted effort, arguing that the party is strong, united, and dedicated to a common cause. He stressed that any confrontation with such a movement would ultimately lead nowhere.
He went on to remind Alien Skin that when he first gained recognition, Bobi Wine was among the people who publicly praised his talent and potential to inspire. Bajjo noted that this early encouragement should be remembered and valued rather than dismissed.
Alien Skin, however, has maintained that he does not want to be controlled by anyone, a position he says explains his refusal to associate with NUP. His insistence on independence has, in turn, fueled ongoing friction with party supporters.
According to Bajjo, the young artist should recognize Bobi Wine’s influence and leadership, pointing out that aligning with him could only strengthen Alien Skin’s reach and impact. “He knows that he is more powerful, and joining him would make it even more,” Bajjo said.
Bajjo further appealed to both sides to de-escalate tensions and avoid unnecessary fights. He argued that cooperation would serve them better than confrontation, creating room for growth and unity rather than division.
Ultimately, Bajjo’s advice underscores the value of strategic partnerships in Uganda’s intertwined music and political landscapes. By encouraging Alien Skin to work with Bobi Wine instead of opposing him, he hopes to ease tensions, expand opportunities, and keep attention focused on positive contributions rather than public disputes.
