Muhammad Nsereko, a close ally of Democratic Front (DF) leader Mathias Mpuuga, has announced that he is severing ties with him, citing disappointment and a loss of trust. Nsereko said he can no longer rely on Mpuuga’s promises or political commitments.

Speaking to journalists, Nsereko said the National Unity Platform (NUP) was right to distance itself from Mpuuga. “The man has no truth in him,” he said, criticizing Mpuuga for failing to honor key political commitments.
