“Please, Give Me The Last Chance” Manipulated Video Shows President Yoweri Museveni Pleading With Ugandans to Vote for Him
A video circulating on social media claims that Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is urging citizens to vote for him one last time. In the footage, Museveni allegedly says he wants another term to complete unfinished projects.
However, a closer look reveals the video is manipulated. It combines real footage of Museveni with AI-generated audio to make it appear as if he is making the plea.
In the video, the voice attributed to Museveni says: “This is the last time I am vying for president in Uganda. I will never vie again after 2026.
