“Removing Museveni From Power Alone Is Not Enough” Gen Mugisha Gives Powerful Advise To Ugandans

Gen Mugisha Muntu, President of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), has urged Ugandans to think beyond merely removing President Museveni from power. He warned that ousting one leader alone will not address the deeper leadership challenges facing the country.

Speaking to the public, Gen Mugisha said, “Removing Museveni from power alone is not enough.” He encouraged citizens to focus on electing leaders with integrity, who prioritize genuine representation and service to the people rather than personal gain.

He emphasized that political change, while important, is only part of the solution. “Unseating Museveni from power alone won’t make any significant difference,” he said, highlighting the need for a broader approach to governance and leadership reform.

According to Gen Mugisha, meaningful change in Uganda depends on electing leaders who genuinely care about citizens’ welfare. He stressed that leaders must be accountable, transparent, and dedicated to effective service delivery.

He also cautioned that replacing one person with another who lacks the right values would not improve the country. “Overthrowing Museveni from power alone will not have a big impact,” he said, urging Ugandans to carefully consider the character and vision of those they vote for.

The ANT leader’s message comes amid growing frustration among Ugandans with political leadership and calls for change. Gen Mugisha encouraged the public to actively shape the country’s future, not just through protests, but through informed voting and civic engagement.

In conclusion, Gen Mugisha’s advice underscores that sustainable progress in Uganda requires more than a change in leadership. It calls for a long-term commitment to electing principled leaders who will serve with honesty and dedication, ensuring real improvements in governance and society.
