“Those Ghetto Youths Can’t Do Anything In Helping Bobi Wine Take Over Power From Museveni” Top Political Analyst Tells
Veteran journalist and political analyst Richard Baguma has warned National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, that relying solely on support from ghetto youths will not be enough to wrest power from President Yoweri Museveni. Baguma said Bobi Wine must recognize that he is currently the underdog in Uganda’s succession contest.
Baguma highlighted the strength of Museveni’s inner circle, which includes his son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), and his son-in-law, Odrek Rwabwogo, chairperson of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID).
