Minister Balaam Barugahara has strongly condemned the violent assault on presidential advisor Jennifer Nakangubi, widely known as Full Figure. In a statement issued through his media platforms, Balaam described the incident as disturbing and demanded that the perpetrators immediately present themselves to police.

The minister, a close ally of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, first expressed gratitude to the medical team working tirelessly to treat Full Figure, who sustained serious injuries during the attack. He called the incident “unfortunate” and said such acts have no place in a country that values peace and order.

“To those who took part in the brutal act of beating and robbing her, I urge you to surrender at CPS and record a statement without delay. We cannot allow cruelty and lawlessness to dominate our society,” Balaam declared.

Emphasizing the dangers of violence, the minister reminded Ugandans that disputes should always be resolved through lawful and peaceful channels. He warned that acts of brutality not only harm victims but also damage Uganda’s image both at home and abroad.

Balaam also directed part of his message to Full Figure herself, urging her to tone down her often abrasive communication style. He cautioned that vulgar and abusive language creates unnecessary hostility and encouraged her to embrace humility and respect in her interactions.

In a conciliatory gesture, the minister went further to issue an apology on Full Figure’s behalf to those who may have been offended by her past remarks. He said it was important to acknowledge the hurt caused and to promote reconciliation within the community.

His statement has since drawn widespread public reaction, with some praising his firm stand against violence and others noting that it should serve as a turning point for Full Figure. As investigations into the attack proceed, attention has now shifted to whether the culprits will heed Balaam’s call and hand themselves over to police.
