President Yoweri Museveni has been dealt a major embarrassment after a group of youths revealed that their supposed defection from Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) was staged.

The drama unfolded during a gathering at Kololo, where NRM mobilisers showcased youths claiming they had abandoned NUP. But soon after, the same group confessed that their loyalty still lies with Bobi Wine.
