Meet the Unmarried Woman Achen Who Got a Jackpot and Is Now Running a Beauty Parlor Shop in Kampala
Achen, an unmarried woman, struggled to make ends meet for nearly 17 years with no sign of success.
Sharing her story, Achen revealed that after leaving her abusive marriage, she turned to risky means of survival to support herself and her three children. Her former husband, known for his violent tendencies, would assault her whenever she questioned his numerous affairs. After enduring years of abuse, friends encouraged her to leave him and find a new path.
“My husband would fight me every time I confronted him about his affairs. He was so abusive I couldn’t bear it anymore,” she shared. Achen eventually left her home and moved to Kampala, where she hoped to rebuild her life.
Despite her challenges, Achen’s fortunes changed when a friend named Nakato introduced her to a traditional doctor, Mugwenu. Nakato shared inspiring stories of how Dr. Mugwenu had helped others succeed in their careers and businesses.
