In a stunning turn of events, Kaliro District Woman MP Brenda Namukuta shattered her silence in parliament, revealing a shocking tale of domestic abuse at the hands of her husband.

During Tuesday’s plenary session, Namukuta emotionally pleaded for protection, not from political foes, but from her martial arts-obsessed spouse.

Sources within the parliamentary chambers describe the usually reserved MP’s courageous testimony as jaw-dropping. Namukuta recounted five brutal “Jet Li-inspired” beatings, blaming her husband’s kung fu moves for her numerous bruises.

Rumors suggest her husband’s excessive kung fu movie watching has honed his roundhouse kicks.

“I didn’t support the Ssekikubo motion, and he went full Bruce Lee on me!” Namukuta confessed, appealing to Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa for protection.
