In a pivotal moment for the Islamic University In Uganda Mbale Main Campus Law Students Society, Kampala Eye brings you an exclusive look into the upcoming election scheduled for March 16. At the forefront of this transformative event is Lemi John Bosco Frank, a candidate with a compelling vision for the presidency of the Law Student’s Society (LSS).

Lemi’s campaign, aptly named the “ORDINARY STUDENTS AGENDA (OSA),” is not just a bid for office; it represents a unique opportunity for ordinary students to find practical solutions to the persistent challenges they encounter in law school. From exorbitant tuition fees to a lack of internet connectivity, poorly furnished moot rooms, and inadequate student welfare, Lemi’s innovative approach proposes the establishment of a society business.

The profits from this venture will contribute to a fund, allowing students to borrow for tuition with a repayable, friendly interest rate.Beyond addressing financial concerns, Lemi is committed to expanding the Law Society’s global reach. Through diplomatic interactions with stakeholders, he aims to bridge the gap between students and the outside world. Lemi, describing himself as an “artistic definition of a boy with a bag of dreams but an empty pocket,” radiates confidence that failure is not an option in achieving his transformative vision.

Kampala Eye acknowledges Lemi’s extensive leadership experience, having previously served as the General Secretary of the LSS under the leadership of Kakaire Umar. During his tenure, Lemi orchestrated successful fundraisers and career guidance initiatives, showcasing his dedication to improving the society. With charisma, vision, and a passion for inclusive leadership, Lemi aspires to create a more student-centric LSS, breaking down barriers of tribe, religion, background, and nationality.

As the election date draws near, Lemi John Bosco Frank emerges as a beacon of hope for those seeking positive change within the Law Students Society, promising a brighter future for all ordinary students. Stay tuned to Kampala Eye for further updates on this promising candidacy.
