TikToker Pressure Arrested After Claiming The Kabaka Of Buganda Is A Criminal, Uneducated And An Illegitimate King

Uganda Police has arrested a social media influencer nicknamed “Pressure 24/7” for posting disrespectful content aimed at the Kabaka of Buganda, His Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.

The influencer, known for creating and sharing videos containing derogatory remarks about the King, faced widespread outrage and condemnation after the videos went viral on social media platforms.

The incident came to light after several of the offending videos went viral on various social media platforms, drawing sharp criticism and calls for swift action from members of the Buganda community and beyond.

The incident prompted authorities to investigate and subsequently arrest the individual responsible, highlighting the importance of responsible social media use and cultural respect.

Buganda’s Prime Minister, Charles Peter Mayiga, has always emphasized the significance of respecting traditional leaders and cultural values on social media.The arrested influencer is currently in police custody and is expected to face charges related to disseminating offensive content and disrespecting a cultural figure.
