In a significant political development, Mr. Calvin Echodu has officially been nominated to contest for the position of NRM Vice Chairperson for Eastern Uganda. The announcement was made earlier today following his successful nomination by the Electoral Commission of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

Mr. Echodu expressed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support he has received from all corners of the country, with special recognition for the grassroots communities that have rallied behind him.

Following his nomination, Mr. Echodu stated that he is fully energized and prepared for the journey ahead. He emphasized that this milestone is not merely a personal achievement but a collective effort aimed at delivering purposeful and action-driven leadership to the people of Eastern Uganda. His remarks resonated with a strong message of unity, commitment, and a promise to listen, act, and deliver meaningful results.

During his address, Mr. Echodu extended congratulations to the NRM Party Chairman, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for once again availing himself to continue leading the party and the country. He applauded the President’s unwavering dedication and called upon fellow party members and patriots to stand together in the pursuit of national development.

Quoting the renowned Helen Keller, Mr. Echodu stated, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This message encapsulates the spirit of his campaign — one rooted in teamwork, service, and community-centered transformation.
