“I Won’t Have To Do Anything Against Those Nincompoops! My brother Ruto Will Arrest All Of Them By Monday Morning” Muhoozi Responds After Kenyan Newspaper Labels Him Four-Star Brat

Diplomatic tensions between Uganda and Kenya have escalated following a controversial article in The Standard, a Nairobi-based newspaper, which referred to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba as a “Four-Star Brat.” The remark has sparked outrage among Kainerugaba’s supporters and triggered a strong reaction from the general himself.

In response, Gen. Kainerugaba took to his X account, posting a defiant message:

“I won’t have to do anything against those nincompoops! My big brother William Ruto will arrest all of them by Monday morning. Jeopardizing our great relations is criminal and an enemy action.”

The article followed Kainerugaba’s recent comments on regional security, particularly his concerns over violence targeting the Tutsi community in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. His remarks were made during discussions with East African military leaders in Nairobi, where he sought to encourage regional cooperation. However, instead of fostering dialogue, his statements appear to have reopened old tensions between Uganda and Kenya.

The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), a political group backing Gen. Kainerugaba, has strongly condemned the article. Led by Secretary General Daudi Kabanda, the group has called for a protest outside the Kenyan High Commission in Kampala next Wednesday.

Kabanda, who also serves as a Member of Parliament for Kasambya, reminded Ugandans of past incidents, including an attack on the Ugandan High Commission in Nairobi during protests against Kenyan President William Ruto’s government. Despite the damage to Ugandan property at the time, Uganda refrained from retaliating. However, Kabanda warned that this time would be different.

“We will respond with full force,” he declared.

As tensions simmer, it remains to be seen how both governments will handle the situation. Will this diplomatic row escalate further, or will efforts be made to defuse the growing hostility?
