Kamwenge LC5 Chairperson Urges Youth To Take Part In Government Projects In A Bid To Fight Poverty

Kamwenge district youths have been advised to utilize government programs like Parish development model,Emyooga,Youth livelihood fund e.t.c to empower themselves economically and reduce unemployment in Uganda.

This message was delivered by the district chairman Kamwenge district Mr.Karungi Joseph while addressing the NRM pressure group Generation Seven(G7) coordinators at Kamwenge youth centre.

Mr.Karungi called upon youths across the country to use the opportunities setup by government to change there lives other than politicing and wasting time on matters which do not benefit them.

He also encouraged them to take advantage of the presidential skilling initiative where youths are needed to learn hands on skills/vocational skills which can also enable them to start up there businesses and create more jobs hence increasing the taxe base and development of the region.

How ever the National coordinator Generation Seven Mr.Stephen Mukasa appreciated the hospitality showed to him by his members and advised them to keep on the candle burning till 2026 since there Patron H.E.Gen.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has confirmed his come back and they are ready to offer him full support in the coming elections in 2026.

Mukasa Stephen applauded the Kamwenge District chairman Mr.Karungi Joseph and other leaders like Brig.Gen.Charles kisembo as the son the land for strengthening security in the area,promoting unity,accountability and development as stipulated in the NRM manifesto and Generation Seven objectives.

He also cautioned youths in Kamwenge to be careful while chosing the groups to work with since some groups might recruit them pretending to offer help yet mobilising them to join terrorism groups in congo unknowingly since the area is bordering congo forests where the mighty UPDF is hunting.

He encouraged the youth to maintain the spirit of patriotism for our country Uganda and continue supporting the ruling government with a reason of preserving the legacy of there Patron H.E.Gen.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
