A spine-tingling event has shaken Owino Market in Kampala, where a notorious phone thief was suddenly struck blind after a surprising twist of fate.

This astonishing outcome followed repeated thefts by the man, who had long preyed on unsuspecting shoppers. Frustrated by his unchecked crime spree, some of his victims turned to the renowned Mugwenu Doctors, traditional healers famous for their mystical interventions.

The thief, notorious for skillfully swiping phones from pockets and bags, had managed to elude capture despite many complaints to the authorities. Desperate for justice, his victims decided to seek help from Mugwenu Doctors, hoping for a supernatural solution.

The traditional healers, known for their tough stance against wrongdoers, assured the victims that the stolen goods would be avenged in a way that would shock the community. They performed a special ritual, casting a spell to not only expose the thief but also render him incapable of continuing his criminal activities.

In a matter of days, the spell took a terrifying effect. While prowling the crowded Owino Market, the thief suddenly began screaming and stumbling, clutching his eyes in broad daylight. At first, witnesses thought he was faking to avoid capture, but soon it became evident that something far more alarming had occurred—the thief had lost his sight completely and inexplicably.

Fear rippled through the market as the now-blind thief confessed to his crimes, pleading for forgiveness. He admitted to stealing numerous phones over the years, thinking he would never be caught. News of his sudden blindness spread rapidly, and the victims who had sought help from Mugwenu Doctors confirmed that they had indeed placed a curse on him to ensure justice.

This incident has left the community stunned by the Mugwenu Doctors’ power, once again highlighting their reputation for delivering swift, harsh consequences to wrongdoers. While some praise the victims for taking action, others question the ethics of resorting to such drastic measures.

For the thief, his punishment has not only ended his criminal exploits but also left him with an uncertain future. Now blind, his fate may depend on the mercy of his victims and possibly the Mugwenu Doctors, who are known to reverse curses only under specific circumstances.

The incident has sparked fresh debate over traditional justice in Uganda, with many arguing that when the legal system fails to protect the innocent, supernatural intervention becomes a viable alternative. For now, the thief serves as a grim reminder of the potential consequences of a life of crime, especially in Owino Market.
